I'm back, and so is Gus...

Gus is alive THANK GOD. I was actually kind of annoyed that I hadn't heard from him in so long -- since the Christmas EB. After reading about the bombings in Manila, I really started to freak out when he wasn't responding to my emails.

Turns out that he didn't have tremendous access to computers which I can understand. He was also focusing on his b-school applications which I can also understand. JUST AS LONG AS HE'S OKAY. The boy was taking it easy, as he should. Proof by how long his hair is at the moment.

HI GUS.     Boy you need a serious HAIRCUT.

Catching up with Gus...

Gus came down to give me a little key chain that he got from Boracay (sweet) and we talked for quite awhile. I really don't know what I'd do if anything happened to this boy. Evidently, four of the bombs went off 20 minutes prior to their landing, and had the one near the fuel depot made it to its target, there may not have been an airport for them to land at. The fifth bomb went off very close to house. HE thought it was a firecracker.

Thanks for the keychain Gussie!

Catching up with myself...

I basically spent the rest of the day catching up with emails and stuff to do at work. It is so WARM in Taipei, I just wore a suit today and was sweating by the time I got to the office. Wennie and I went to Starbucks for lunch and caught up. That was nice. Nothing much has changed around here but to me, it feels like I've been gone for years. At Starbucks, we ran into Maryanne so I made them take a picture. Nice eh?

Independent women, throw your hands up to me...
