How much more is there to do?

I've been getting up really early lately I guess because I haven't quite gotten over the jet lag. This morning I was up at 5 a.m. and started working on the edits of this site, the last step before turning it on. It's a good thing I am doing this because I often referred to Little Joe in my earlier entries by his true identity. I had completely forgotten about that.

I've removed the references for now because I just don't know what I'm going to do with this situation. On the one hand, he was a good friend. *My* friends knew it, and so did his. I never would have wanted to compromise that aspect of our relationship, romantic speculations aside.

But this whole business about him being married and DENYING it even when I asked him point blank (and yes I have those ICQs) just pisses me off to no end. Not to mention certain mutual friends who knew the whole time and didn't say anything when they very well COULD have. You bet I'm dragging them into this. I deserve an explanation. I WILL make a decision at some point about what I'm going to do with the said information.

Morning activities...

I sent off this week's EB with zero problems. And this time it only took me 40 minutes to pull it together, which I did over the weekend. Gus was out for the morning but stopped by just before lunch. This is such a cute picture of him. He was as excited as I because of the new discoveries he's made with our BBS component. It is SO #&*%! COOL.

To make a long story short, we are going to be able to add instant messaging features to the BBS! Further and even more important is that the BBS in every sense of the word replaces the current People Directory component. On the one hand, it negates all the work that we (mostly Gus) put into designing the People Directory, but on the other hand, it will enable us to combine the two features, making the interactive sections of the site that much more meaningful, not to mention the fact that our jobs as site administrators will be even easier.

The only reason we added the current People Directory component was because when we first launched the website, the BBS license that we purchased had significant limitations. But like everything else in the Internet world, software products are continuously being enhanced, like this! I'm happy! Can't wait to make the announcements.
