Saturday, October 21st Reflection and Procrastination... same thing... The past couple of days have been pretty mellow. And that's a good thing. Adella just got back from Malaysia so we all hung out at the apartment last night and caught up. Today, once again, I spent more time than I had planned working on this website instead of the b-plan, though I did finish the EBs for Monday. The most timing consuming part of it is scanning in pictures and writing up the Who's Who profiles. My brother had given me a digital camera for Christmas a couple of years back, but I never really needed it until now. That should help. As I was reading through some of the profiles, I couldn't help but feel this incredible sense of appreciation for all the wonderful friends that I have, many whom I have been close to for over a decade. I guess I just never thought about it until now. The coolest thing is that those who do not know each other will begin to get to know one another through my website. I have a really weird feeling about this site... in so much that I'm not sure what to anticipate once it's launched for public view. At the very least, I hope it will inspire others to build their own personal websites. It's a permanent investment, and well worth the while.
The birthday couple... Angela organized a birthday shindig for Andrea and Frank, and a bunch of us went to Thai Thai at the Mandarina Hotel for dinner, yummy. Barbara, Acer Ginny, Ing, Vicky, Patty, Settha, Paul, Lyon, and Mike. Ben, Simon and Herman came later. It was fun. From there we took off for Light Bug, and more people showed up there including Hubert and Shirley, Chris, Augie, Patrick, Will, Richard... I think they moved the party over to OD later on. I had to go to bed.
