To write or not to write...

I started to think that maybe I wouldn't post a journal entry on Sundays since it's typically an uneventful time of the week, but here I am typing away. We'll see what happens.

So today, it is STILL raining. Am I like the only one going stir crazy? Adella was out all day. Laurie and I hung around the house working. She was reading up on sexual abuse in preparation for a course she's teaching soon, and I wrote up job descriptions and about half a dozen profiles. It was fun, but tiring. By 3 in the afternoon, I went stir crazy and had to get out of the apartment. Laurie came with. Here's a picture of Adella in our living room that I just downloaded today:

Something to get excited about...

Here were the exciting places we visited. Watson's, and Subway. Watson's was particularly exciting because it usually takes a lot out of me just to go there and pick up the stuff I need (shampoo, saline solution, etc.) which I will put off until it kills me. I absolutely HATE running errands. But more to the point, I also picked up a box of liquid gold hair dye. That's what happens when one is bored. Actually, it was the packaging and the name of the brand that caught my eye (HOT HEADS), and I'm a sucker for smart names. I wanted to try something temporary first since I wasn't sure how I would want to streak my hair. It was an interesting production that entailed TIN FOIL but in any case, I kind of like it.

Ron Yuan in DEEP CORE Later on we watched Deep Core on HBO, and I instantly fell in love with the character played by Ron Yuan. See picture. He reminded me SO MUCH of a really really really old boyfriend of mine from a very long time ago and in fact, at first I thought it was HIM when he first came on screen. I hate it when that happens, but they were indeed fond memories.

I pretty much worked on my computer for the rest of the evening and didn't get done until after 12:30 am. Only then did I realize that I lost my copy of tomorrow's EB which I had drafted yesterday. I totally panicked and zapped off an email to Gus with a message entitled, I'M IN TROUBLE. Thankfully, Gus happened to be on his computer too and called me right away. He had kept the copy I sent him for review. Whew!
