More consequences of being a workaholic...

I didn't get up until after 11 a.m. and went to get my haircut per usual. I've been going to the same woman for the past two or three years and refuse to go anywhere else. When I first got to Taiwan I tried so many different hair stylists and got my hair ruined so many different times, one time it was so horrible I almost started to cry. I AM SO SERIOUS. Hairstylists in Taiwan are not required to have licenses to cut hair and therefore, MANY of them do not know what the *bleep* they're doing! I don't remember how I found this hairdresser but it's been awhile now and is a good excuse to visit Wypoh. I don't see her nearly as much as I should, so it all sort of works out in a weird way.

A nice little visit...

Wypoh, by the way, is doing very well. For a 79-year-old, she is healthy, her mind is clear, her hearing is ultra-sharp and she is as quick-witted as ever. I don't know why Mom worries so much. She is the reason why all the women on my mom's side of the family are so darn sarcastic and in the most subtle way. It's scary when they all get together. I can't keep up.

I borrowed some photos from Wypoh to add to my website. I tried to explain to her why I wanted to borrow them but I don't think she got it. Here she is below, along with my two cousins Alexander and Parker. I, of course, renamed them both since I moved back to Taiwan. I didn't have a choice, as they used to call themselves Peter and Jerry respectively. I also renamed cousin Maria to cousin Heather. Gee... I wonder why...

Back to Taipei...

Uncle James and Da-Jiu Ma came over for lunch, and afterwards they took me to the bus station. Again, I slept all the way back to Taipei and still felt really, really tired. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, I really wished I could have gone to the beach! Back in Taipei, I grabbed a latte from Starbucks and spent the entire afternoon writing tomorrow's EB and working on this site. The content for this week's EB is a little lacking, it would have been a perfect time to announce our Yellow Pages but unfortunately we still need another week. I can't wait (and neither can Gus) as it will be the last major component we have wanted to add to the site. And probably the most useful.

Now I'm just waiting for Mike to show up. We need to go over the finer details of the legal aspects of this site. It's now 8:15 p.m. HELP.
