Digital camera samples!

I was already busy as it was but Gus came down and surprised me with a BOX and a big grin. In the box were sample mini digital cameras that he got from Ergotech for US$30! Awesome! I actually gave Gus a HUG. Oooo.

The only problem was that the one he gave me didn't seem to work, and the panel to replace the batteries was terribly cumbersome. Gus snapped a photo of me fighting with it, see picture. I hate dealing with gadgets and am not too kind to them if they don't cooperate with me. Till this day my dad yells at me when I use a knife to cut open microwave dinners because he's convinced I'm going to scratch the kitchen counter top. PLEASE Dad.

THE COOLEST THING SINCE GORE INVENTED THE INTERNET!

HOLY COW. Gus went and returned the Oval Cam and got the Tri-PenCam during lunch, and Wennie and I ran into him on the street on our way back to the building. I cannot believe it! The digital camera is smaller than a t.v. remote control and also acts as a WEBCAM. I CAN'T GET OVER IT. I do not know if I am behind the times or ahead of the times but this is the coolest gadget I have ever, ever, had in my possession, and it is making me rethink my quibbles about gadgets! HOLY COW! IT'S SO FREAKIN' COOL.

I am going to have to talk to Ergotech and see if I can't get them to promote their products on my site. WOO HOO. THIS IS FREAKIN' AWESOME. This thing is so SMALL I can't get over it. Granted the quality of the picture isn't THAT GREAT, but for the purposes of this site, it works for me! It makes life so much easier and now I can spice up this site even more. Whew! Here's good 'ole Gus (above) helping me plug in the USB cable. Nice shot, eh? Heh heh. Gus is the coolest. He really is. And yes my hard drive is on the floor and yes those are all Industry Standard magazines and yes my desk is a MESS. Don't say it!

Below is the picture I took of Gus and Wennie when we first ran into each other during lunch. Alright I got a little too excited and sort of got my finger into the picture as well. Typical. I still can't get over it! And oh yeah! Almost forgot the most exciting part of the day... see the print magazine that Gus is holding? That's the latest issue of "Discover Taipei", a bimonthly magazine produced by the Taipei City Government, and the .ORG site got featured in it again on page 31. We want to establish cross promotionals with them and invite them to be regular contributors. GEEZ. TOO MUCH WORK TO DO AND NOT ENOUGH TIME IN THE DAY TO DO IT ALL... HELP...
