Friday, December 8th Yay... Gus is back in the HOUSE.
Otherwise, it's just been a very busy day. I think I really need to cut back on my social agenda a bit and just chill out for awhile. I am exhausted. It's only 2 p.m. but I've already decided this evening's agenda. To treat myself to a Zinger burger and watch Charmed.
Last night at CAPT... Per usual, I had a great time at the CAPT Social Hour, which was held at Joyce Cafe this time. Walsh, Mark, and Chris were there too, and I also met their friend Jimmy Hexter who works for McKinsey.
Joe Fye and I caught up too, and that was GREAT. I had called him earlier in the day as I only recently found out that his company, U.S. Offshore Group, also sells those little digital cameras, so we were able to work out a nice little deal for ORIENTED members, colleagues, and friends. Unfortunately because of back orders we probably won't be able to roll out the promotional until January, but either way, it's all good. I'm PSYCHED.

As I said to Joe, I'm really not interested in making money from this kind of a deal because it's not enough to justify the logistics involved, but what I AM interested in is using such promotionals and offering sweet deals to people on the condition that they add their profile to the ORIENTED People Directory if they haven't already. This bumps up the stickiness of the current site and broadens brand awareness of the name ORIENTED. YEAH BABY! Here is a shot of my messy desk that I took today. The rest of the photos are from last night's event. A bunch of us went out to dinner afterwards, including Settha, Will, Paul, Linda, Carol, Wendy, Andrea, and Frank. I ordered a very yummy egg salad sandwich. Wendy and I stayed until 11:30 p.m. just talking. It was fun catching up.
