Sunday, December 10th Once again it was an absolutely gorgeous day. I got up and thought, why did Carol have to leave? Ugh. So I thought about ringing up someone to go to Grandma Nitti's with me and then remembered that CAPT was having a new members luncheon there. I keep meaning to attend one of those events but I never remember to do so, so this was my first time to go. Good timing. I had a great time. They had reserved the rooftop of the restaurant so we really got to enjoy the good weather. And I'm all about good weather. Here's a photo from the event. Click on it to see more.

Afterwards I stopped by the office to pull in a few more hours, since I'll be taking off for Christmas and need to make up for my days away. I had called Wennie earlier to see if she wanted to go to the luncheon as well, but she was off to Costco so instead we opted to see Charlie's Angels (once again, a website that could be designed much better...) later on in the evening. Yes this would be my second time. I wanted to see that scene again with Cameron Diaz on the Soul Train. It was TOO FUNNY. Here's a link to the Soul Train website, though in my humble opinion, it doesn't bring out the essence of the t.v. show nearly as well as it could. I must have been a web designer in my past life.

What it is about Diaz that I'm so drawn to is that she is such a FREE-SPIRITED woman. There's something about her smile that makes me want to smile. Gee. I wonder what would happen if she and Rene were to meet. Anyway. That was the extent of my Sunday.
