Wrapping up...

I got up this morning with the intention of finishing the Email Bulletin for Monday. I had been running around trying to find a computer with Win 98 or higher and a USB port and that would allow me to download the applications I needed to edit and upload web pages. Mission impossible. The EB itself wasn't that hard, but I had hoped to launch this site during my vacation. It just ain't gonna happen.

I hung out with Mom and Dad for the rest of the afternoon and actually watched some television, that which I rarely have time to do. Larry King Live was on, which is one of my favorite talk shows, as well as lots of "year in review" programs that were absolutely fascinating. It's been one incredible year for the United States of America.

Evening affairs...

We went to eat at a new Japanese restaurant in the area. I was impressed. It was better than most of the places I've been to in Taipei, if you can believe that. Afterwards, Dad went home and Mom and I went grocery shopping. They are throwing a Kareoke dinner party tomorrow night at the house. I never thought that this would happen to *my* family... sigh...

I snuck off and visited Tommy and Eddie for a few minutes while Mom was freaking out at the grocery store, and then after we got home, I took the car and zoomed off to Richard and Becky's place to download pictures from my camera. Otherwise, I won't be able to take any in New York. Becky, Richard's fiance, had a USB. YIPPEE!!
